About This Demo

The demo opens up a curated portion of the world, giving you access to several islands within a defined boundary. While the full game spans 800+ square kilometers, this slice is designed to showcase exploration, building, and progression without holding the experience back. Once you build a ship, you’re free to set sail in any direction, discovering new islands and points of interest as you choose.

What’s included in the demo:

• Single-player and co-op (with up to 10 players)

• Custom Worlds

• An 8-hour play window per world (start a new world to play again)

• Character progression up to level 20

• Multiple islands open to explore, reachable by sailing in any direction

• A wide range of weapon types to experiment with different combat styles

• Most building types unlocked, enabling everything from practical bases to ambitious sky-bound structures

• Discover towns filled with quests and merchants you can trade with as you explore the world

• Play solo in offline mode to explore at your own pace, this is a great way to learn the game

• Or, jump into cooperative multiplayer modes to explore, build and conquer together; tackling the skies as a team of adventurers

• Multiplayer is recommended for up to 5 players, however, you can customize your server however you like, expanding the player limit and opening the world up to even more players

AI tools were used in a limited capacity during early production to generate placeholder 2D assets. Most of these assets have since been replaced with original artwork. The main benefit for us was enabling programmers to visualize and prototype features with production-ready visuals early in development.
