About This Demo

A Thousand Cloys is an incremental game in which you have to explore and cleanse a planet of its Klein radiation, while unravelling its mysteries. In order to do that, your employer thankfully provides you with Cloys, high-tech toasters able to mine materials in hazardous conditions!

This demo allows you to play the beginning (around 1-2h of gameplay) of the full game. Elements beyond a certain progression threshold are locked in this demo. The full game will have much more content. The demo save will be kept for the full game.

Uncover and build your skill tree

The skill tree nodes are hidden throughout the world, and unearthing them as you explore further will make your task a lot easier! Lift the fog of radiation shrouding the planet and uncover pulsating fields, monoliths and other oddities. Study them, repair them, build them, upgrade them and become a true harvesting machine!

Harvest resources

Chose whether you want to idle while your Cloys work automatically, or play more actively. Harvest all kinds of resources, improve your clicks and your Cloys, build new structures, and harvest more resources! The pace is steady, and the numbers remain understandable.

Explore an alien world

The planet you've been assigned to cleanse isn't just an empty field. Some weird structures stand, hidden between towering mountains, in the middle of acid lakes or behind mysterious doors... Explore its nooks and crannies in order to become always more efficient at your job!

Restart stronger, faster

Once you've accumulated a big enough payout during a session, end it, upgrade your permanent outposts, let the world rest, and start a new session to earn an even bigger payout!
