I'm already in Infinite Mode, but I didn't get the achievement for killing the last slime... did my game glitch?

Saved game yesterday, loaded game today. All the buildings are gone except for the guild. Clicking on the slime doesn't spawn smaller slimes. I cannot progress, I cannot do anything. Tried reloading a few times. The same, I think I have no choice but to reset the game data and start over from zero....

I was wondering why the achievement Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatball (Gain Food 10000) didn't trigger and after checking achievement progress in Steam it shows as "-8,320,426 / 10,000". There's probably some unwanted subtraction from spent food going on.

After defeating the last boss and restarting to get the rest of the achievements, the golden slime won t explode and my units deal way too much damage, generating a flood of little slimes which cause the game to stutter after a while.

Loving the game so far, just one little suggestion. After a building is complete it just pops into existence. If you were to add a few smoke particles that would play at the position of each of those blocks used when building it would go a very long way with the satisfaction of completing a new structure....
