Last post is from October, last year though... is this thing still alive? Anyhoo, the parry timing being predictive, instead of reactionary is an interesting choice. You look for a spark (enemy weapon) and a sound queue to parry, instead of reacting to swings or ranged attacks. I'm sure that's something you'd get used to eventually. The button mapping is also... interesting. Why not R1 attack, L1 parry? X attack, triangle parry feels a bit weird on your fingers. It's cute so far. Maybe first area sword...
