this game is an absolute nightmare, Brand new high-end PC. Fresh install. Fresh drivers. Every other game runs flawlessly:
Cyberpunk? Buttery smooth, RDR2? Gorgeous, Forza Horizon 5? Perfect, MW3? “Verify game files.”
before any COD software engineer started disliking this review i:
Reinstalled the game multiple times.
Reinstalled drivers.
Reinstalled Visual C++.
Deleted caches.
Reset configs.
Ran admin.
Disabled overlays.
Factory reset GPU drivers.
tired every. single. solution to this problem that i could find anywhere on the internet

“Running...” for 3 seconds.... instantly crashes.
No crash report. No explanation. No actual diagnostics. Just the same useless “verify game files” loop like the launcher is possessed, Modern COD isn’t even a game anymore, It’s a tangled live-service software ecosystem held together by anti-cheat spaghetti and launcher rituals, Absolutely insane that a AAA title from a billion-dollar company can fail this catastrophically on a clean, modern system while vastly more demanding games run perfectly.

I spent more time troubleshooting the launcher than actually playing the game.

Honestly, I’ve always been against the latest Call of Duty releases and Activision Blizzard’s decisions regarding a ton of stuff I’m vehemently opposed to. The last Call Of Duty I played was MWII and I didn't like it at all. I’m not going to go into detail about them in this review, but if you follow gaming news even a little bit, you know there’s a lot of crap going on with the Call of Duty franchise in general.

However, I suddenly felt like playing a Call of Duty game again, and I saw that MWIII was one of the most played and appreciated titles recently, which surprised me because when it came out, I thought it was the worst Call of Duty ever released. Well Black Ops 7 came out so I changed my mind >-<

The multiplayer is surprisingly enjoyable, fun, and really dynamic; there are always a lot of people playing, and it’s super easy to find matches with Turks yelling in the lobbies (I love that). There are still some issues that sometimes annoy me, like the fact that crossplay can’t be disabled on PC or the weapon metas, but the maps, weapons, gameplay, etc... it’s really fun!

I got it on sale for 27 euros, and honestly, if you want to play a fun multiplayer game for 27 euros, it’s worth it. That said, don’t even think about the campaign, it’s completely pointless and I don’t know about the zombies because I’m not a zombie player; it’s nowhere near the quality of BO2/BO3 zombies, so it might pass the time but that’s about it.

Don't buy, the first few missions, it was filled with bugs, the starting mission is straight up ass, you shoot two guards and it's finished. The storyline is completely ♥♥♥♥, inside open world missions, it felt like I was in a warzone lobby because of the mechanics and felt just stupid. The open world mission map was stuck while being open so when a cutscene rolled, I saw where the ammo boxes, ziplines, turrets, objectives were. The making of this game was very poorly executed and not really a suprise sence it was made only for money, but atleast they could've made a better job then this. The game is just not worth buying, even tho it's on sale. It's ♥♥♥♥ and if you are playing because of the story or the feeling of a CoD campagin, don't buy this crap because it feels nothing like it, the story is okay, but the mechanics and everything else is just a ♥♥♥♥ show. I bought it rn because I was curious what was everyone complaining about and now I see it. And it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying having to download 130 GB of a game when 30 gigs is the campaign. What the ♥♥♥♥ are the rest of the 100 GB's, I get it that there are some shaders and few things to make it more smoother but it can't be 100 gigs. And I have to play it on a SSD otherwise the game takes 20 minutes to load between cutscenes and generaly loading, it's very buggy if you don't have it on SSD and atleast like 16 gigs of ram. Otherwise you will feel like you're playing on a PowerPoint presentation.

Long story short, save your self some time, don't buy the booty cheek game because it's just not worth the money or the time.
