I have no idea what the devs of this game were smoking, but they need to smoke it some more because this KLETKA is the kinda game that feels a bit like a fever dream but it's all in the best way possible.
Seriously, don't write this game off just because it looks like it wants to be Lethal Company. This brings enough meat to the table to differentiate itself and feel different/fresh.

Also, the music has no business going this hard. Put the cassette tapes aside which offer a variety of music on their own, the trailer that felt like a proper rave in late-night Amsterdam, but the exploration music is strangely entrancing kind of like Minecraft, like I could sit here for hours just listening to it.

Game has good vibes, combat is pretty basic but it gets the job done, crafting and maintenance systems, satisfying upgrades, good checkpoint system, many settings to change and gamemodes to choose even on existing saves, we have solo and coop, workshop, unlockable cosmetics...

Just get the bloody game.

Wow, Kletka has come so far since early access. It has far more content than it originally did.

Kletka is a genuinely great game that stands among classics in the co-op horror lotting genre like Lethal Company/R.E.P.O. It is very fun and quite difficult too. There have been so many hilarious moments with the boys on here so far. If you have friends just buy the game! It is also backed by an amazing dev team that cares about the community and about their game. It really does not get much better than this.

TLDR Fun and hilarious game would recommend 10/10.

I enjoy KLETKA a lot, especially early on in its development, but this game has suffered a lot from the bloat of focusing on only adding new things without regard for previous content.

The multiplayer aspect of this game is really struggling with bugs right now. I've faced multitudes of bugs that are obviously related to poor server/client communication. A few examples, car inputs being delayed ~1 second, car randomly shows as being upgraded for non-hosts when it is not upgraded, invisible flies that continue to follow you after death repeatedly making their death sounds, bullets being delayed and overall strange, bodies are rarely in the same spot but the items come out of where the body is for the host, and randomly being unable to drop specific items(I couldn't drop mines for a period of time for whatever reason).
Also sometimes the altar things just don't work, especially when it says it will revive a teammate(it will not). I've had enemies just teleport repeatedly directly in front of me as well which is often deadly. The car controls terribly in general and needs a lot of work, and I have had multiple camera bugs while alive and spectating in relation to players getting in and out of the car.

Balancing is my main issue though. There seems to be very little thought right now into how the game is supposed to play. Currently(which is on the full release update) you start in the prison, go to the car area, and lastly to the fleshmine. The prison is loaded with weaponry as well as enemies holding those weapons. It strongly encourages being heavily armed due to the very dangerous enemies that spawn right off the bat. Eventually after making it past that section, you are almost certainly loaded up on weapons and ammunition and resources in general. The car area is next and it is essentially the opposite in all ways except for the enemies. The enemies are still dangerous but there is little to no loot. You waste so many resources fueling and repairing the car and the Kletka at the same time and get nothing for it. You are better off just sailing past the entire section and regaining fuel in the next section, which is painfully disappointing. The fleshmine is the only section currently that I actually enjoy, it feels threatening but you still get good loot. The loot isn't as good as the prison though, which makes it feel more like a refueling zone now instead of upgrading weaponry.
Also the bosses feel out of order as well. The Mother of Concrete is absurdly difficult compared to every single other boss, and it is the first one. I used to be completely unable to beat the boss until they nerfed it, and it is still more difficult than the other bosses. The final bosses are not threatening in comparison.
It is also obvious that the developers have gotten so excited to keep adding new enemies that they haven't stopped to think about how the enemy difficulty should scale as you keep going deeper. Originally the first floor was the apartments(?), and the enemy scaling was honestly great there. You started off with just the cone spider guys, the chandelier grabber guys, the occasional mushroom guy, and the doppelgangers but it gave you time to get started before it started throwing guys with weapons at you and like demons and crazy enemies. In the prison, the guys with the enemies are the easiest ones, and they don't feel good at all. I also barely see any of the original easier enemies anywhere. On my 2 runs on this release version, one being unsuccessful and one being successful, I saw like one mushroom guy, maybe 4 or 5 spider cone guys, and not a single chandelier guy. We got very very few floor effects(which is one of my favorite features) which threw me off a lot. It genuinely feels like they actually removed content in favor of throwing the shiny new enemies at you constantly.

I don't know, I'm just very disappointed with the state of these updates. I feel like every update has brought in new bugs and balancing issues but a majority aren't being resolved. I love the content in this game, it is just currently buggy and in a nonsensical order. If the game gets rebalanced and bugs get fixed, I will rewrite this review to the positive one it genuinely deserves. But I cannot currently recommend the game to new players until these issues are resolved.
