cant they afrod highress pics

i´ve seen a lot of discussions abou this so it´s a comun problem and i tried a lot of things aleady, like installing the oalinst.exe, openal, clicking to start on the hotlineGL.exe, deactivate the steam panel, change my DPI, check the integrety of the files and adding wrap_oal and openal32 and still the game don´t open after i click to start in the launcher or in the .exe...

Seems odd but just wondering if Im the only one or something.

I've had a hankering to replay the game so I just re-installed When I try to open the Updated version it shows the first two company logos, but when the face logo comes up the game crashes.
