Daily Hard stratagems
Let's all be honest in saying that daily hard stratagems are just not worth playing. I can play 3 normal daily stratagems at substantial/ruthless difficulty (depends on the type and number of battlefield conditions) and get a total of 30 accolades. So in a week you have potential of getting 210 accolades + 350 if weekly are completed.
My main gripe is hard daily strats are only 15 accolades, literally only 5 more than normal. So basically I am going to sweat and probably fail multiple times on an hard daily stratagem which is usually harder than absolute difficulty if the battle conditions are horrendous? No, I rather not play especially when some idiot didn't read the battle conditions(this is another problem in game).
Example, friendly fire is a battle condition and vanguard is nerfed. I queue up for a hard stratagem as tactical and guess what? There is a heavy with a pyroblaster burning everything and a vanguard struggling to do damage. This could be fixed if saber could maybe show the mission battle conditions on the screen in the battle barge when the host selects a mission.
Back to the main point, I don't even bother to queue up for anything hard in stratagems anymore. It feels very unrewarding to play a 12-40 minute operation to only get 5 more accolades assuming you don't fail.
It was fun the first two weeks cause I liked to be challenged but that quickly passed, especially with thousand sons operations. God, I hate the massive waves with multiple chaos spawns (that it self needs to be addressed to be more lore accurate in how they should attack everything around them since they are failed mutated warp creatures). SABER, that would be cool if you could kill a rubric marine and the chaos spawn just attacked foe or friend.
Also the queue time for hard daily stratagems is getting to be very long for finding people if you don't have a squad. I have had to wait like times of 4-25 minutes to find a full crew cause bots are really not helpful on hard. So obviously , other players are feeling the same way about the hard daily strats.
Here is my opinion for improving: make 2 or more positive random battlefield appear for hard daily strats, increase the amount of accolades we get for doing a daily like 20-30 per operation, or make hard more along line of lethal difficulty instead of absolute when having more negative battle conditions.

Normal is a literal walk from start to finish if you are griding for accolades.
I barely get even a scratch playing with bots on normal.
With hard, on certain days this feels like you are condemned by all gods of the warp and you will not be allowed a finish no matter what.
And tbh I do like this. The fact that there are difficulties that are stupidly high, breaking your hardware is good. It I just wished they named it accordingly - like "no one walks away from this" rather than hard.
I will 100% agree that the rewards are trash, but if they would be higher the entire set up economy would stop working. Not to mention with the current state of matchmaking where lvl 5 andy's straight out of campaign think they have the juice to do hard ramping up the accolates would cause an endless wave of complaints both from people who's lobbies are ruined by the lvl 5's and the lvl 5s themselves complaining they get kicked are unable to finish all is too hard and they get scraps not rewards.
I keep repeating that the number 1 issue SM2 has is matchmaking.

The hard strategems are more likly there for the challenge itself.
Accolades are just a little bonus.
Without hard strategems there would be almost no reason for some players to continue to play the game.

No one's pretending?

Normal is Substantial.

Hard is Absolute, but you take 30% more damage, and enemies have 15% more HP.

No disagreement there. It's more of a naming problem.
Calling it hard next to absolute kinda twists the meaning of both words.
That brings up another problem. People playing underleveled with no team perks also makes you have to carry them cause they trying to power level. I could understand doing ruthless or higher if you are level 10 with maybe 1 or 2 prestige perks. When I see a level 1 sniper in my lethal or absolute difficulty join my game, I just roll my eyes and pray that he doesn't die in the next 2 minutes. Then they hoard all the med stims cause they just can't keep up

They should probably be 30 or something, i do them just for a challenge but in terms of being compensated for your time, it's not worth the effort to those that don't enjoy the challenge
Also has anyone been noticing that the chaos warp spawns seem to be appearing as much as or than rubric marines on hard stratagems. I had a massive wave in my previous game where 15 spawned while only 3 rubric marines showed. 5-8 are enough to handle as is. IT BECOMES A NIGHTMARE WHEN 10-15 ARE THERE JUMPING BEHIND YOU WITH THEIR AWKWARD TIMED ATTACK PATTERNS especially on obelisk in tight corridors. you just can't move at all if you get stuck in a room.

Imma be real honest here. I prefer them to rubrics who are the lamest of enemies in the game. CS's are proper hard as nails challenge.

If you don't see the value then don't play them.
I rarely play hard strats now unless I see a favorable battle condition set or a friend asks me to join his squad. Even if I do try to play the queue times can be long for getting a squad of 3. When I do get 3, 1 or both squad mates are so under leveled (1 to 7) and don't have any team perks active. It seems like too many random people are just using it to power level to get 6k exp and hope you carry them.
I have maxed out all 6 classes with prestige level 4 and own maybe 60-70% of heroics. I don't need the experience but it becomes so annoying watching the death timer popup cause they don't have any perks to mitigate the conditions and difficulty. I feel bad sometimes kicking them cause I just don't want to be a babysitter for 20 minutes and then getting frustrated cause they hoard all the stim packs. I rather fail with a decent squad in the range level 20-25 knowing that we had good team work than having to be a step daddy to a level 4 assault or sniper dying all the time and making a 20 minute game 30-40 minutes cause only 1 or 2 of us are alive at a time

yeah 15 accolades is just not worth the try.
Developers, please remove rewards completely. Let's just unlock one heroic gun or skin for completing a weekly Hard Stratagem. And leave the daily Hard Stratagems without rewards for those who enjoy the pain))
The economic argument is silly.

It's not that you can only get 30 OR 45 points per day. It's 30 or 75... if you even have the time to play it.

The real issue is that some battlefield condition are just heretical and not worth attempting on Hard.
I don't even bother with the dailies, I don't have that much time or willpower to sit through that many load screens.

Can't wait to do that at least 6 more times everday for some scraps to eventually unlock another heroic I don't even want or a cosmetic I'm not gonna use.

I like the game but it's a chore to play. Not because it's to easy, grindy, or hard, but because it's a load screen simulator.
