similar combat mechanics but with optional and limited use skills, + more enemies, and maybe deeper lore. could be even a "re-imagined version" with same bosses plus a few new ones; the game wouldnt need to be about grinding like most rpgs: just about trying to find the shortest path possible to the next boss. less skilful players could still risk more by spending more time searching a special upgrade to increase their odds of survival. that could allow a good experience for speed running, but also for ...

Bought the game 10 days ago, went through all the bosses one by one, learning and refining my skills (the Edge was the highlight in that regard, a true test of blade mastery). I finished the game two days ago and went back at it today to have a try at The Flame. I struggled a bit on his third phase, but after a few tries I actually beat it as well as phases 4,5 and 6 in one go. I'm sure furier mode will teach me some humility, but right now I feel like I'm on the top of the world!...

So i get to the charged slash part and i cant release my slash when i let go of right mouse button. my character just stops charging it and does nothing. Please help i feel stupid xD

I die in fights almost exclusively to the dodge A) not activating B) not making me invulnerable and taking damage anyway or C) the dodge dropping me right in the middle of the thing i was dodging through. The mechanic just feels bad and inconsistent I know that the charge dodge is a lot of the reason for this but I can't be the only one who just thinks the dodge mechanic in general just feels really bad and unreliable...
