It's not a bad game in itself but the surge 1 was much better.
This one has bugs where some quests cannot be completed and they lock you out of the good ending. I even lost hours of progress once because the game didn't save despite telling me it was saving, multiple times.

Story wise, it's so much worse. Graphics also have a ton of issues with lighting. Gameplay is also much much worse. You will also spend half your time backtracking, lost, having to look it up on google like hundreds of other people.

The Surge 1 is MUCH better and I cannot recommend this.

Nice garbage, stuck in tutorial because can't hit/aim boss at head to dmg.

So first of: this game is REALLY cheap on sale. Just try it.

That being said I have two main complains.

First of all it's just kinda boring? I was continuing in hopes that something grabs me but it just became more dull.

Secondly there was a sudden difficulty spike really early that made me stop playing. I couldn't find the way because it seemed like the only path left I knew of was way too difficult to be intended.
So I looked up a walkthrough and this is in fact the recommended path? Like enemies two shot me (I upgraded my gear as much as I could). It was a brock wall I'm not willing to endure.
