Play The World Extended (Brave New World Edition)

Omschrijving
This is the BNW version of PtWE. It features some of the new civilizations (22 in total). For another, better experience, the Enhanced Map Pack allows you to play with all 43 or any number of Civs on this map and select a wider variety of gameplay options: http://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=164928513

I have spread all resources and natural wonders manually, to ensure that there is no sugar in Siberia or spices in North America. Some resources can also be found in their corresponding real world locations. There are true start locations for all included civs.

The map comes in 4 different flavours: There is a separate one for each game pace option, allowing you to choose whatever game speed you like, as it cannot be changed in one scenario.

Although there is more space in Europe, if you like to start there it is recommended that you open the following directory to alter the minimum distance between your cities: x:\programs (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\Assets\DLC\Expansion\XML. Now open the GlobalDefines.xml per text editor and change the parameter MIN_CITY_RANGE to a lower value.

Note: You should at least have 4 GB of RAM, 64-bit Windows and a quadcore to play this map!

Credits: to Gedemon for converting Yet Another Giant Earth Map out of Genghis Kai's GEM for Civ 5. It is the solid foundation of PtWE.

Installation:

Just click subscribe (the green button).

Playing the map:

Once you're in the game go to Main Menu - Mods - Activate mod - Next - Single Player - set up game not Main Menu - Single Player - set up game. Choose the map (and respectively game pace) from the drop down menue.

IMPORTANT: To avoid that random civilizations, starting positions and resources appear in your game (for instance China in Europe) or if you start at the wrong place it is essential that you click the following button after choosing the map in the game setup screen, in order to have all the game elements as intended:

http://www.pic-upload.de/view-15640085/CivilizationV_DX11-2012-08-17-11-10-58-25.jpg.html

Now select your Civ and difficulty level. Done.

Playable Civs:

France
England
Sweden
Germany
Spain
Rome
Russia
Greece
Ottoman Empire
Arabia
Indonesia
Egypt
Morocco
India
Zululand
China
Mongolia (DLC)
Japan
Shoshone
America
Brazil
Inca (DLC)

If you're a Mac user:

A Mac version of this map pack is available here (for manual installation):

Known issues:

Workshop problems
If the mod doesn't show up in your list, just delete the game cache in username\documents\\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache and restart the game.

Strange Civs in your game
If you do not own one or more of the DLCs listed above, the game fills their gap with random civilizations. So you might encounter Babylon in Mongolia or Carthage in South America.

Anybody else get black squares on random ui icons? They're random every time I reload too. Odd that a map mod would cause this or have any mod conflicts but it's playable. :S

Does anyone else have an issue with the UI on this scenario? Everything seems to function fine, but some of the UI elements in game are just...invisible? Like I can't see the tile yields when I"m in the citizen management screen, whenever my units fortify, their icons get messed up, and a lot of my notifications at the right side of the screen don't have icons anymore

Is there a way to turn on quick combat/movement? With a game this size even on quick pace the later turns especially during war begin to take quite long time.
